Santee Library and City of Santee’s Recreation Department Celebrate a Seven Year Collaboration
This May the Santee Library & City of Santee’s Recreation Department celebrate a seven year collaboration of providing enrichment activities for older adults.
The City of Santee’s Recreation Department and Santee Library regularly host First Wednesday at the Santee Library. The program strives to provide seniors with social activities to enrich the mind, body and spirit. Together the Library and the Recreation Department schedule diverse activities to open a horizon of opportunities for older adults to learn new skills, share a lifetime of experiences and build a larger network of friends.
Join us for us for the next First Wednesday, 9:00AM on May 3rd, as we celebrate Older Americans Month (OAM) and make terrariums at the Santee Branch Library.
OAM events will continue throughout the month of May.
